The Legend of Sir Owen
Adapted from a Play by Jennifer Kroll

Narrator 1: The time is long ago.

Narrator 2: The place is Camelot.

Narrator 3: You’ve probably heard of Camelot.

Narrator 4: It is a magical kingdom ruled by King Arthur.

Narrator 1: The Knights of the Round Table serve King Arthur.

Narrator 2: They are always racing off to fight in wars or compete in tournaments.

Narrator 3: Later they sit around the Round Table and discuss their victories.

Narrator 4: On this particular night, one particular knight is home from a journey. His name is Sir Calogrenant.

Sir Gawain: So how did the journey go, Sir Calogrenant?

Sir Kay: We want to hear all about it.

Sir Owen: Start at the beginning, and please don’t leave anything out.

Narrator 1: Sir Owen is one of the younger knights.

Narrator 2: He is always interested in what the older, more famous knights do.
